What is an Non-Individual (Type 2) Gatekeeper Digital Certificate?
Non-Individual digital certificates are for organisations wanting to engage in online transactions with Government Agencies or other organisations that accept Gatekeeper digital certificates. They identify an individual as a representative of an organisation.
Each applicant for a non-individual certificate must complete a personal and organisation identification check, during which, the applicant provides personal and organisation Evidence of Identity (EOI).
The identification check must be performed at selected Australia Post locations. Check the KeyPOST location guide to find the most suitable location for you.
What "grade" are Non-Individual Digital Certificates?
A Non-Individual certificate for interaction with Customs is a Grade 2 Certificate, which requires 100 points worth of EOI documentation for the Personal Identification Check, and 1 EOI document for the Organisation Identification Check.
